It's been a while. Fishing season is started, the Watta Bite Boat
is ready to go.
Need to update my end of the year letter. The
DNR did not raise the price of fishing licenses. A one day license is
still $7.00, Resident all species is $28.00.
Went out on Lake
Michigan twice in the past week. Water temperature is very cold 36
degrees!
That means fish activity is slow.
I also went
on West Grand Traverse Bay twice this past week caught a bunch of Lake
Trout. I caught 9 fish today. 3 keeper Lake Trout and a White Fish. I
lost just as many or more.
Hope that water warms some so I can
start catching the Big King Salmon.

Friends, The Watta Bite Charter
Fishing Reports are written by me, Captain Bill. They
are all accounts of my fishing experiences. I will not
use information from other fishermen. I have to know
what's going on before I write, that way you, the customer or
potential customer, have facts to work with when choosing a
charter. -- Captain Bill |
