Watta Bite Charter Fishing Report

June 10, 2009

It’s finally starting to warm up! We fished out of Glen Arbor this morning and caught a few Kings. Sleeping Bear bay is holding some real nice fish.  We boated 3 Kings 10 to 17 lbs and a limit of Lake Trout.

*oops... it's not 06/09/09 at 11:17pm in this picture.  It's 06/10/09 at 11:17am!  I better ask Sue how to correct the date and time on the camera.

The Kings came on King Fisher Fly combinations, and orange spoons, 50 to 85 feet down over 100 to 140 foot of water.

The Lake Trout are really biting  good.  Cowbells and orange spoons are working well.  Run tight to the bank 50 foot down.

Fishing should really pick up.  The surface temp is 50 degrees, and we have good schools of bait.

Good Fishing

Friends,
The Watta Bite Charter Fishing Reports are written by me, Captain Bill.  They are all accounts of my fishing experiences.  I will not use information from other fishermen.  I have to know what's going on before I write, that way you, the customer or potential customer, have facts to work with when choosing a charter.
